A small self-service shop can operate in various locations such as hospitals, shopping centres or office buildings. A great example of this is the 3m x 4m self-service Żabka shop located in the BASSE CAMP dormitory at 18/22 Sienkiewicza Street in Wrocław, which was constructed by M&W Construction.
How does the small self-service Żabka shop work?
In the small self-service Żabka NANO shop located in a Wrocław dormitory, there are no cashiers or queues. Payment is only possible using a payment card. The customer simply places the card on the terminal outside the shop to open the door. Once inside, it's very simple. The customer selects the desired products, and the camera system installed in Żabka NANO recognizes the purchased products and automatically calculates the payment amount. This is a purchase authorization and payment system created in collaboration with Adyen.
Small self-service shop - innovation and intelligence
The small self-service Żabka NANO shop not only operates in a modern way but also has a modern appearance. It was created using modular construction. Its facade is made up of illuminated perforated panels, and the entire structure is made of glass. The system installed in the kiosk is safe and intelligent. Cameras inform Żabka employees about products missing from the shelves or nearing their expiry date. The cameras analyze the image in the modular Żabka shop, but out of respect for customers' privacy, they do not store their images. If necessary, there is a safety button in the kiosk.
