Żabka NANO - SELF-SERVICE STORE, 48m2

A store without cashiers and queues, which can be used independently 24 hours a day, seven days a week? Is that even possible? Well, yes, and the proof of that is the modular Żabka NANO store, which was entirely made by M&W Construction company. The prefabricated container stores is already open in the Komorniki logistics center in Poznań.

Żabka modular shopping stores

The self-service store in Komorniki was made from two modules prepared in controlled conditions, according to the construction project. Ready-made prefabricates, which already have full equipment, including installations and shelves, were transported to the construction site using oversized transport. They were then combined into one modular object. The self-service store in Komorniki is a shopping container with dimensions of 10m x 3.5m x 4.8m. Its total area is 48m2. The container has two entrances, and its perforated elevation, which was powder-coated, has been illuminated.

How does the Żabka self-service store work?

The self-service Żabka allows users to shop around the clock, regardless of the day of the week. There are no cashiers, so there are no queues either. So how do you pay for selected products? Just generate a QR code in the Żappka application just before entering the container store. After scanning it, the system will open the door for the customer. The Żabka self-service store is equipped with cameras whose algorithms process the image. This means that when you leave the store, the bill for your purchases will automatically appear in your application. Of course, the modular store is entirely safe - there is an SOS button inside, and security cameras will notify employees if the buyer needs help.
