Facade material: Expanded mesh facades

Extravagance and practicality in one, thanks to the expanded mesh

Expanded mesh, as the name suggests, is produced by notching and stretching the sheet metal. This type of product is extremely cheap and ecological, because there is no production waste, and the final material is extremely versatile and universal. Expanded mesh is used on many levels of construction, in addition to strengthening the structure and ventilation, it can also be an element of an exceptionally attractive facade. One of the biggest advantages of this material is its three-dimensionality, and thus the semi-permeability of the image, which ensures discretion inside the pavilion. The spatiality of the mesh also causes the play of light and shadow, which additionally decorates the modular container and makes the structure live its own life depending on the time of day.

In addition, the low weight of the sheet allows for its simple assembly, regardless of weather conditions and does not require additional cleaning due to the lack of use of wet materials. Stainless steel or aluminium from which the mesh is made, thanks to its slippery surface, does not collect dirt, and basic cleaning agents are enough to clean any additional dirt. Such a facade does not require special maintenance, which cuts all costs of specialist renovation. Expanded metal is an extravagant and fashionable element of the container arrangement, which can be freely modified according to the customer's intention. Pavilions and modular buildings enclosed with mesh will certainly fit perfectly into the urban landscape, thanks to their industrial style and strict minimalism.
